Continuing Education

I flew out to San Antonio Texas last week to attend 4 days of workshops with some of the hottest photographers in the industry. I am so lucky that I get to make a living doing something that I love so much. Spending time with so many wonderful photographers was inspiring and the workshops were awesome. It can be both fun and tough to shoot with so many other photographers at the same time. Here are some images from my week.

They Grow Up Too Fast

Filed under: Portraits — True Blue Photography @ 10:25 pm

Seems like just yesterday Lucas was born but here we are 6 months later. He’s getting to be such a big boy and is full of giggles and smiles. His big sister Kate is so good and loving to her little brother. While Lucas giggled and chomped on his toes, Kate played dress up – complete with lip gloss.

Courtney Scarlett Rose is now 4 months old and has grown so much since my last session with her. Despite needing a long overdue nap, she was in great spirits. This happy little one even got to play a bit of dress up with her cousin’s necklace collection and got to play for the first time in a saucer. Her mama Lauren joined in for a few photos as well.

Last week I stopped in to take a few headshots of my bonus mom for the website of the law firm where she works. We followed this session up with lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Yum!

Julie’s Little Man

Filed under: Portraits — True Blue Photography @ 8:23 pm

When I got to the house, Jacob was still taking a nap. His Mom had dressed him in pants, a button down shirt and the cutest little sweater vest. He looked like an adorable little man sleeping in his crib. When Julie woke him, he was smiling almost instantly. As a matter of fact, everytime I pointed the camera at him, he just seemed to ham it up. What a cutie!!!
