Gorgeous sunny day, Tantalum Restaurant in Long Beach, family, friends, great band, boats and a singing bride made for a truly amazing day. Congrats Joyce and John!

My oldest daughter has found the man of her dreams and is getting married this summer. I got the privilege of doing their engagement session. We spent an entire day together starting at the Los Angeles Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and ending at Disneyland. It seems like just yesterday she was this adorable child with big brown eyes and ringlets. Time truly has flown.
Even though I was working, it was great to spend the day with them and get to know my future son-in-law better. Welcome to the family Michael. May the rest of your lives be filled with happiness and love. I love you both very much!

Very near where they met – both were working at Disneyland at the time.

Last year I had the honor of second shooting with Heather Kincaid on Rachel and Dusty’s wedding. Beautiful home, great food and a gorgeous couple. Here are a few of my images from the day.

Mike and Tina got married at Tivoli-Too in Newport Beach on a gorgeous April day. They started out their day at the Surf and Sand Resort getting ready for the big event. They had a bit of a rough morning that included the closure of several miles of Pacific Coast Highway and Tina’s makeup artist canceling at the last minute. Thankfully two makeup artists arrived to save the day and PCH opened up enough to allow the bridal party to get to the hotel. Having gotten all their wedding day drama out of the way, the rest of the day was amazingly perfect. Congrats Mike and Tina!

Amber and Tim got married at the Bernardo Winery in San Diego on Saturday with all of their friends and family in attendance. I had photographed Amber & Tim’s engagement session back in March but it was finally wedding time. Tim’s daughter Kaley made an adorable flower girl and had special dances with her father and her new step mother. Very sweet! The winery was both elegant and rustic and Amber had worked hard to organize everything with help from friends and family. It was truly a family affair and everyone’s hard work paid off as their wedding was beautiful and charming with lots of personal touches. Even their formals were fun with everyone doing ‘The Weasel’ for me. Thanks to Richard Agajanian for 2nd shooting.

Michelle & Roozbeh’s wedding and reception took place at Castle Green in Pasadena on April 28th. It was an amazing event with a Buddhist Monk officiating the Persian ceremony. It was both beautiful and emotional. There were candid photos of Michelle and Roo literally in every corner of the lobby and reception area and a cake on every table. Everything about their wedding was fun, gorgeous and well planned out – including their choreographed first dance, the amazing food and the Persian dancer that entertained everyone. For this wedding, I had the honor of working for Kim Fox of Kim Fox Photography sharing 2nd camera duties along with Talla Garestani from Studio Inspire.
